Request for Proposals: Local Team Leader on Recovery

SALAR International is searching for a Local Team Leader on Recovery for the programme “Swedish Support to Decentralisation Reforms and Recovery in Ukraine 2024 2028". The Local Team Leader on Recovery will be the local thematic lead for Locally-led Recovery work.

Working from Kyiv, the Local Team Leader on Recovery will work in tandem with the International Team Leader on Recovery, as well as the wider recovery team and experts, and management unit in Kyiv. The Local Team Leader on Recovery will be the local thematic lead for Locally-led Recovery work, with responsibilities such as contributing to the design and implementation of all Locally-led Recovery activities, Identifying required data sources and tools for analysis and evidence-based planning as well as Support and guide pilot interventions. The role also includes having direct engagement with Ukrainian partners, as well as other stakeholders supporting locally-led recovery, on the overall scope of programme engagement.

As the Local Team Leader on Recovery you have strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluency in English and Ukrainian are required.

Location and duration

The position is a 21 months full time position, with possibility of extension. The position requires physical presence in the project office in Kyiv, Ukraine.
